Who We Are

Helping Hands focus is to provide people with an effective way to serve their community.

Organized by a group of business leaders, Helping Hands has been operating for more than 10 years and became a 501(c)3 more than 5 years ago.

With more than 300 volunteers Helping Hands is managed by an Executive Director who is part of our Board of Directors. Helping Hands has NO paid employees and all donations go directly to feeding our Neighbors in Need.

How We Work

Organized into working groups our volunteer teams collect food from local churches, a community collection bin system and from Feeding America. Other teams pack the collected food into grocery bags while other teams deliver the bags of groceries to the homes of shut-in low-income seniors, many of which are disabled and unable to travel.
