Volunteers at Helping Hands have been spending time at home making Care Cards that are inserted into food bags that are delivered to local low-income seniors. The cards are Heart Felt words of encouragement.
The program has been so successful Helping Hands is setting up a new area on pack day for the children of volunteers can make care cards. The children spend time learning why they are making cards, what Helping Hands does with the cards and how much the seniors appreciate the cards.
This program is a blessing for all concerned.
